After a fresh install of 6.5.30, I'm attempting to install the software packages I would like to have on my Octane2. I've run into a few issues with the flexlm vendor daemons that I can't seem to figure out where I've gone wrong.

Maya6.5 is up and running after I downloaded the 'sgiawd' package from Autodesk. That being said, all of the Alias|Wavefront products, PA9.5, PA8.5 and SP9.5 are refusing to load stating that :

'/usr/aw/alias9.0/bin.Alias: Out of date FlexLM daemon on host 'HOST'. Use the latest 'sgiawd'

I have reinstalled all products with the full blown installation and still do not have the correct version to load any of the AW products. I thought that the correct version would have been what I installed during the full blown installation; however I'm clearly missing something and seeking any kind of assistance that could be provided.

Sounds like the flexlm license file need some tweaks to get it working. I am not into Alias flexlm licensing, but can this be done with a manual edit or an install script?

Try 'lmstat' to see if the daemon is running
