Upon attempting to install OSS for AIX, I got a bunch of these messages:
Quote:./install.sh[##]: /etc/methods/cfgbus_pci: not found
(replace ## with various numbers)
And then when the installation completed and said "* Open Sound system installation completed successfully *", it attempted to load OSS's sysconfig and it spits out this error:
Quote:sysconfig: single load failed: Exec format error
I don't know what that means, and whenever I try to run sysconfig again it'll keep repeating that.
Any ideas? I know of one guy who got OSS/AIX installed on 5.3 just fine (and to a degree 6.1--but I can't remember what the exact issues of it were). He said it didn't work at all on 7.1 if I recall, but, since I'm swapping my system to 7.1 to try out a few things I may as well test it as well.
