I'd like to thank those who took the time to email, PM or DM me on various services ideas for the site. I'd like to address some of the most common suggestions I got.

1. Image Host/Gallery/Image Storage

There's nothing *technically* preventing this, but software is a problem. Since the days of Nekochan, the script that was used is widely obsolete. 

I at one point was going to use Sequenzia, or another booru software, but there's major usability and CSS-related issues that we encountered. Additionally, the Gallery 2 project used by Nekochan went defunct in 2014 - there's a few potential options I'm exploring, though. 

2. Online radio

I'd love to have a sort of social radio system where we could broadcast audio to our SGIs or just in general over HTTP - I'm just not that well-versed in this area and there wasn't a whole lot of suggestions for how to implement this

3. Commercial Software

Now that the old commercial software fiasco is behind us, let me explain what happened. We had our public FTP hacked by someone. We never confirmed who, and I'm not the type to throw around accusations, especially when there's considerable doubt. There was a few other concerns that were there, namely people weren't happy  with how I was mandating naming conventions, IRIX-compatible formats, etc. There's a balance with all things. I may try it again on a more limited scale in the future, but probably not as a public ftp - more like an HTTP listing like you're seeing with our files mirrors. 

I appreciate all of the feedback and encouragement sent our way. Rest assured, images are our next major project.
