Is Povray available for Irix?
Also, what is the highest version of Blender?

RE: Ray Tracing
Hello Trekiej,

The highest version of Blender for Irix Irix is 2.49b and it works fine on my Octane 2.

The lastest PovRay version is 3.6.1 (in my archiv library). I've never used PovRay, I prefere use Blender Internal or Yafray (0.0.9a).

I started out on Blender 2.48. I bought a good book that got me going.
I need to start over again.

I did find a book on Povray.
That is something I did not know existed.
I think is 2.x from 1993.

Okay y'all Blender et.al. Povray backsliders, much as I hate to continue to laboriously point this out, Maya 6.5 Unlimited with Mental Ray is available at no charge for all your IRIX pleasure, from my personally owned webserver that sits in my basement (many thanks to Pair Networks):

And thanks to everyone for adding to my bandwidth expenses!

I'll be taking donations shortly once the Zombie Apocalypse has resolved... Tongue
