Indigo2 upgrade
Hi Guys,

I've trying to make an Indigo2 Impact (more) usable and I've got two problems:
1. High noise level. What are the specs for the fans and are there any ones with close characteristics?
2. I've tried without success to use a bigger HDD with an adapter. I found a 68 pin with wide/narrow jumper and set the jumper ON (narrow bus). When I use just this drive it is recognized by the system. Once I add the original HDD the SCSI bus is getting upset, resets itself and only the old HDD works. If I am using 2 old HDD (50 pin) the system is OK. I am sure that is something that I'm missing in setting....

Thanks for help.

I think, I2 has a build in SCSI terminator located in CD-Rom tray and I had the tray installed all the time....

That’s correct.
