Is there no aftermarket, better designed timing chain tensioner for your TT engine? Might be better value than the OE part. Surely someone has made a better one already.

It was replaced with an OEM part, but I now plan on replacing it every 40000 miles. I hardly drive the car, so this will take quite a while. (In future, I will look around for a better engineered part)
