Does anybody still frequent BBS sites via dialup? Read an article the other day (can't find it again!!) suggested there is a bit of a rise in older style BBS communities.

Last dialup modem I used (2002 - South Africa) was a US Robotics V.92 56k modem When I arrived in the UK I went straight to Blueyonder 512k cable broadband. I was able to go from 4.5k/sec to 100k/s - what a blast. I spent a whole weenend on Kazza downloading mp3s.
