Topic says it all really. I'm looking for a slightly slower / quieter 60mm fan for the CPU module on on R12K 300mhz O2 pimm. I actually don't understand how they designed such a bizarre cooling system on the PIMM, putting a fan hard up against the sink is just daft, any air the fan draws down will just be pressure bounced straight through the blades as pushback, and it will then be sucked back down again. Also, this fan pretty much just scrambles the airflow in the O2 into a turbulent mess?! Oh dear...brute force cooling.

Surely a centrifugal fan drawing air via a 5mm gap between the sink and fan and then exhausting it out the back would have worked better?

Anyhow, I don't have a metal 'basket' on my riser so can afford to go for a 15mm fan and offset it 5mm from the cooler with a spacer.

Any suggestions?
