RE: Sega Saturn
I used to play my Saturn a lot. Got 2 black UK PAL saturns (given about 5 away in the past), and a white Jap saturn. Two light guns (for VirtuCop2), two arcade sticks (for Dead or Alive 1)... about 5 copies of Sega Rally, Daytona USA and a number of copies of VirtuFighter1 ... about 15 years ago you could pick up saturns for peanuts and I used to pick up entire saturns just for one or two games... so inevitably got multiple copies of the ones shipped with Saturns in the UK. Personally I prefer the Dreamcast (best console SEGA ever made... in fact one of the best consoles ever made... way ahead of its time, and the gives the real SEGA arcade feeling at home... more so than the saturn), but the Saturn will always have a nostalgic place in my heart.

I have a question. Do you know anything about these sampler CD's...

RE: Sega Saturn
Yeah it's a Demo CD from Sega. I can try to translate it, but it's basically just a demo set with Sonic R, Shining Force III Scenario 1, and "Mami" which appears to be some weird Japanese live action game

RE: Sega Saturn
Thanks, I have played Sonic R and Shining Force (not so keen on turn based stuff), but while I did study Japanese for 4 years, this was about 15 years ago and I can't keep up with the text quick enough on the last game (It's called Machi) :(. There was a transparent "This is cool" saturn (hi-sat I think) and I think it is related to that, but don't know under what circumstance this sampler was released. I got it with the White saturn years ago. Would like to know more info if anyone knows.

[EDIT:] Just found a reference to it Smile. https://tokyo-retro-gaming.myshopify.com...-iii-machi

There is an old ebay listing for one, but cannot find anything else :(.

RE: Sega Saturn
I should have this in my possession in the next few weeks. I've asked the seller to swap out the sports games, as I loathe sports games!

The Saturn is a great 2D powerhouse! All the SHMUPS, RPG's and fighters on the system make is great! Do you have the 4MEG expansion card? Need it to run both Street Fighter vs X-Men and Cyberbots!
