No, the Indy itself is a monocore system. I support multithreading insofar as each individual component is given its own thread/core on the host machine, but the MIPS processor emewlation in the Indy should remain monocore.

The purpose of an emewlator is to replicate the hardware in software, not upgrade it.

The PROM won't allow a dual CPU config. For that you need to emulate the Onyx or Octane or origin.

I have some trouble running it on mame.
On boot up the screen is ok, but shifted down afterwards.

When the PROM screen comes up click on stop for maintenance and click on command monitor. Then put in this command without quotes "setenv monitor h" and that should fix it and get you a 1280x1024 resolution in everything.

Tell me, please, someone was able to configure the network: MAME + IRIS under Windows? How to set up a shared network folder in MAME + IRIS to have access to it from Windows? If possible, please share your instructions step by step. Thanks!

Here are two links that both describe how to setup MAME networking on MS-Windows. After that, you have to configure Irix for networking just like you would on real physical hardware. I doubt any kind of 'shared folder' can be setup, I would try to stick to FTP or similar to transfer files to/from the emulated Irix instance.

I aways had too much love for SGI and now i am getting some fun with MAME and the pre-made IRIX 6.5.22 image hosted here on IRIX ftp. I have sucessfully installed Softimage 3D 3.9.1 on that image and got it running on MAME 0226b. Bellow i have posted a screenshot from my i5 win10 laptop running SI3D with indy rom. Also have lucky getting Poweranimator 8.5, Maya 6.0.3 and Poweranimator 9.0 running but the hd space on that image is not great so i need to install one software per image. SI3D had some graphics issues, i can't get wireframes in viewport. If someone know its a SI version issue let me know.
