Besides the two 13w3 outputs, the XVR-4000 has an s-video output as well, but I'm not sure if it outputs to s-video without having to apply settings in Solaris, so I've just emailed WildeFire Systems to ask if its not possible for me to make use of an s-video to VGA adapter until I get the proper cable from them next month.

Does anyone by any chance know what the exact difference between SUN and SGI 13w3 cables is?
