If you are interested I have a 3.9.1 version of Softimage 3d
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...sp=sharing

It's dump of my own cd

Hi, thank you very much it has worked on windows perfectly but IRIX does not start the installer because maybe only the installer works on CDROM Drive and the SGI Indy do not have, but anyway thank you very much.  Smile Smile
So download soft391.tar.gz archive from the same location, gunzip it, tar -xvf and run install program from irix directory. It should work. (works for me).

Please tell me how did you uncompressed archive provided by me?
Please download archive soft391.tar.gz to any location of you hard drive on a Indy.
Then open shell window (from toolchest menu System/Utilities/Start new console.
In console go to directory where you downloaded archive - use command cd /direcory/where/you/downloaded/archive - this is only example of syntax!!! Use your absolute path to directory where you downloaded it!
Then use command: gunzip soft391.tar.gz. - this will uncompress it and and inside this directory will create file soft391.tar
To untar it use: tar -xvf soft391.tar
It will create "temp" directory on your Desktop with absolute path /Desktop/temp.
From your Desktop go to this directory (just by double click).
Then go to tars.
Then to irix.
You will see licencin and software directories and file setup which is executable. Just double click it an installation will start - select software installation and go on!
I don't know what are files you showed on picture above but this is not what I shared!
Do not hesitate to ask.
Do everything on your Indy! Not Windows machine!
Also remember! Use install program from irix directory, not software directory!
