TORONTO based Interest of Sale: Onyx 2 Deskside InfiniteReality2 IP27 4xR12000@350Mhz
Hey guys,

For those who remember me, I'm sum][one from Nekochan, and I now live in Toronto (used to be in Italy, then UK).

I'm planning some changes in my life and therefore I'm considering selling some more of my beloved SGIs and give them a new home, including my favourite, The Onyx2 Deskside.

So, for sale here is my Onyx2 Deskside, in perfect condition and fully functional.

As I'm trying to understand the feasibility of this I'd prefer if you could contact me if you are really interested.
I would imagine my asking price is in the CAD$4,900/6.900 ballpark, o.n.o and I'll adjust if needed.


As I've relocated here early last year, the machine is based in Toronto at the moment and I'd much prefer to sell it in person rather than shipping it.
I would be willing to drive within the GTA (or reasonably close outside of it) and deliver as well, or have you collect in person.
I would just wipe some sensitive data but I could leave various software and IRIX installed, or remove the Disks altogether and provide with Empty replacement (I have tons of spare HDDs and sleds).

From these photos (and the HINV below) you'll see a 8 Channels Graphics board, but that has been swapped soon after with a 2 channels InfinteReality2.
The rest of the configuration is pretty much the same.
I can power the beast on and send an updated HINV if you are really interest in buying it.
