Just a short message of Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it and for those who don't, enjoy the winter weather and stay warm. I'm currently staying with family sitting by the fire and baking up some bread. 

2023 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years for this community in a long time. 

Without saying too much, I know it's been a bit of a letdown that things have been sporadic around here. What this community craves is consistency. A huge reason why things on my side have been neglected is because I've been fixing up my cabin and staying there a lot, and that has required a lot of physical labor that has left me mentally and physically exhausted. 

That being said most of the work there is done and I'm currently working on IRIXCE again. No telling when the release date will be but you should see some commits between now and mid January to the repo to bring it up. Regarding versions, I'm retaining openssl 1.1.1 even though it's not the currently supported version and I'm going to maintain some distance from the latest versions of some tools because I don't want to introduce a lot of extra work for us. Once IRIXCE is done, I will resume work on libdisk and my tool chest and text editor projects. 

I wanted to specifically thank TruHobbyist for his tireless work on inst, Linear for her work on an xwsh clone, and Aurxenon who has been working off and on through a GCC thing. 

Let's make 2023 fantastic.
