I have just tested the L1 commands on the deskside tezro:

display power on -> turns on the little green LED below the LCD
display attention on -> does nothing while "powered down". when powered up, this lights up the amber led next to the cube logo.
display failure on -> same as "attention", amber led, but only when powered up.

I can't find a command for the red LED or the illumination of the large sgi cube.

the "leds" command shows CPU status, not "Light Emitting Diodes".
