Before I dig into actual code: does anyone know if there's a possibility to get console through serial port 1 on an SGI O2 at the same time that gfx is used?

That is:

* nvram variable console  must  be 'g'
* keyboard and mouse      must  be attached


I only manage to get a functional console when both nvram console is set to 'd' and keyboard and mouse are not connected. But then, of course, I have no gfx, and I need gfx
