I scored a new IntelliStation 285, in box, on ebay a few years ago.
It was 300 EUR to ship it by truck from the Netherlands.

The delivery person came to me and said they made a mistake maneuvering the forklift and one of the tips of the fork went straight through the box.
I accepting receiving the delivery because, well, there's no such a thing as "asking for the vendor for another one".

Thankfully, when I opened it at home, I found out that the unit floats in the box on almost 30cm of styrofoam so the fork missed it by a few centimetres. It was intact.
But strike of luck.

Once I also bought an IBM T221, upgraded to 60Hz, and the seller literally just put it in the box!!!!!
The plastics were already very brittle, it arrived ruined, completely destroyed.
But it would still power on, so it's here, for parts.
The plastic turned into powder in some parts - the bottom foot is a thick (3mm) metal plate, and it bent like paper.
