Operating system automatically reconfiguring every time I boot the system

Operating system automatically reconfiguring every time I boot the system
After playing around with the stack size limit in IRIX 6.5.30 on my Tezro, I now get the following message each time the machine boots:

The stack size limit has returned to its original value, so the change that I mad wasn't permanent:

The system is still running fine, but I just don't like changes such as this!

How do I fix this?
