This brings me to the question: Is it better to leave you SGI machines plugged in, with their power supplies energised rather than unplugging them?

I do understand that the inrush current that the filter caps in a power supply are subject to, when a power supply is energised, is not good for them.

What concerns me about having my Tezro energised, when it's off, is that the backlit display in the front of the machine is always lit and L1 is always running.

What are your thoughts on this?
