Not sure if you're purposely trying to troll me or don't remember my tirade against macOS and Linux that I did both on Nekochan and in the IRIXNET discord, but I'll summarize it in a more professional capacity. If we were to put macOS, Linux, Windows, BSD, and illumos on a spectrum of anti-power user to pro-power user, it loses out against even Windows:

MacOS - Windows - Easy Linux Distros - illumos - Hard Linux Distros - BSD - Slackware and Gentoo

And then if I were to tier them as to what I want to use, macOS barely beats Linux. I do not currently use Linux or macOS at all, sold my 2011 Mini that I used for work to Lucanis when I quit that job requiring it.

So no thanks on buying an overpriced shitty Mac that will tell me what programs I can and cannot run. Windows is not great but I can t least use it as a power user, remove components I don't want, and I can install even a virus if I want without the system telling me "no I can't do that." Mandatory access controls or mandatory product signatures are authoritarian bullshit and I won't subjugate myself to that, which is why my 2011 mini was on High Sierra.

I will not buy a PS5 unless there's an exclusive I really want to play that makes it worth it, i.e. if Dark Souls II got an exclusive. I dropped the Halo franchise because I couldn't stand the Xbox One. I have a PS4 and am rather happy with it but I barely play it or my Switch at the moment, I play my Vita and 3DS far more.
