I generally only play through games once so I also don't give a flying F about backwards compatibility! (I enjoy the odd good game, but there are many other things that also interest me!!!!)

I'll agree that in the current generation, the consoles aren't quite at the same level as gaming PC's. I compared Fallout 76 running on both my PS4 Pro and my gaming PC which cost me about 10 times the price, and yes the PC was better, but certainly not better enough to justify the extreme price!

I think things will change in the next generation though, you just have to watch the Unreal V Tech Demo running on the PS5 to see what I mean!
