Wiki - Improving Documentation
I have written Onyx2, Origin 2000 and Origin 3000 articles over the last 24 hours. We do have a problem, however:
1. I need screenshots or images for many articles. This will help demonstrate and improve our production values.
2. Some system images are poor quality.
I have had to ask some redditors and others for use of their images, but it would be nice to get more professionally done images (and more in general) so we can better help new users.
I am also going to be finally documenting more of the MIPSPro compiler, correcting old info (A lot of that article was carried over from Nekochan/PreterHuman and turns out is inaccurate), and update the wiki with compiling guides for:
GCC 4.7.4
GCC 5
GCC 6
I may do others if there's demand, but GCC 8 or 9 doesn't really offer much of what I need and I've not found any real performance gains, and I'm not compiling a shitload of C++14 or C++20 stuff so I have little incentive to overheat my office for the hot summer.
If you can help out or have ideas for articles, I may start offering small rewards for people to pitch in. Small perks, if you will. I need some time to think it over.
