Yeah, it's a bit of a surprise - I would never have expected Sun of all companies to have a serious 3D offering, but there we go. I'll definitely be watching this with interest.

Reminds me, I probably ought to try looking for some 3D stuff on Solaris now that my XVR-1200 spontaneously decided to start working...
