Where to get J2DK?

Where to get J2DK?
Hello everyone!

Since I have yet to introduce myself to the forum, I'll proceed to do so here.
I'm mostly hovering around the Discord, so most of you already know me from there.

I'm Jack; currently going on my 3rd year in studying IT. I've been eyeing on delving into SGI stuff myself for several years, but now I've managed to do so. Preservation of computing history is truly important. It's sad how information is very prone to being lost over time, so it's great to know the efforts being done to keep records of stuff as much as possible. I've heard about what happened to the nekochan site and it's shocking as to what happened.

Anyway, I just got an R10k O2 (Thanks Raion!) which is just missing a PSU.
I'll be working on getting the PSU once my next paycheck comes in.

One beginner question I have is how I can get the Java DK for it or is it already included in an IRIX install?
I discovered the last Java version for IRIX appears to be 1.4.1_06.

Your typical IT river otter with glasses.
Doing SGI stuff since the last time we all partied like it's 1999.

RE: Where to get J2DK?
Greetings!

You'll find Java on the IRIX Applications CD and there are also Java packages on the IRIV Development CD's.

No longer active. Please do not contact me.
