SOLVED!!! How do I get Softimage to run in a fullscreen mode or 1920x1080?
I've just installed Softimage on my system and can't seem to find the option to run it in a full screen mode. Any help in rectifying this problem would be much appreciated!

I see that there's already a thread discussing this problem:

I'm going to mess around and see what I can come up with.

I got it to work at 1920X1080!!!:

By adding this line into the ".softimage400" file:

Great job!
Just one question: do you have shapes stretched?
I mean: if you create a sphere does it looks like a sphere or like an egg sleeping? :-)

I’ll test it when I get home.

The uniformity of the squares in the grid look promising though!

Weird. I tried what you suggested on my 1440x900 monitor, but SI won't scale to that. Any ideas?

Have you got a proper VFO for that res? I think that my custom 1920x1080_60 VFO might be the key here.

Yeah. I have a custom VOF. And I set my shell to csh so it would source the .softimage400 file. Weird

The .softimage400 file is a hidden file.

I know it's hidden. Hmm, maybe I'll try at a different resolution. It seems like there are set modes that SI will use, and 1440x900 is not one of them,
