Keyboard issue
Hello! Just got my Octane 2 working after reseating all the ram and cards, and replacing it's HDD and reinstalling IRIX over the network (wow that was a doozy, but surprisingly not that bad).

Only issue: The keyboards all screwed up! The Octane was from Germany and the PROM was set to a DE keyboard but I used setenv to switch it to USA and it worked perfectly. After installing IRIX though, the keys are all wrong and wonkey....

Example: Capslock is X, b is enter, and various keys send the wrong character.

This is only under IRIX, going back to the PROM it works fine. Is this a layout issue or did I screw up the installation?

RE: Keyboard issue
Yeah your layout is buggered or you have an electrical issue with the keyboard. It's standard PS/2 so if the issue follows the keyboard, otherwise it's a software issue. You can select layout from the GUI

Since it works in PROM I am assuming it's a software issue. Where is the setting? Couldn't find it under the keyboard control panel.

RE: Keyboard issue
Woo fixed the issue by running resetenv in PROM.
