I was surprised that you greeted me in Spanish and everything else written in English jejejeje
Primary reason is because the main language communicated on IRIXNet is English.

Yo hablo espanhol y portugues iberico que yo era tres. | Translation for non-speakers: I spoke Spanish and European Portuguese since I was three.
Por mas que, ambas idiomas son difícil. | Notwithstanding, both are difficult for me.
I'm not on a native-level, and extremely limited in more advanced topics for both languages. My pronunciation is strange too -- I grew up learning mostly European vocab for both, but for Spanish in particular people say my pronunciation is very Latin-Americanish, with a very strong united states accent (due to disuse).
I have not visited Spain, but I have open invitations to both countries in the Iberian peninsula from family there.
我最好的第二语是国语。| My best second language is (Standard, National) Chinese.
Strange how that works I guess for most. Chinese is super easy for me.

Questions / Tips for Beginners or Site Discussion and I opted for Site Discussion because this was not a question or Tips
We don't have a dedicated section. Reason being is introduction threads I initially had in '17 when we launched didn't really get used, so we don't really have it. Most just post in the beginner section -- that's what it's for. Site Discussion is for things like public suggestions, bringing concerns to staff such as myself or Kaigan or Dodoid or Micrex22 etc.

Greetings!
Everything gets moved here. If we had a sufficient international audience I would consider translating parts of the board into internationalized labels to ease it. Candidates would be Spanish, Japanese and German -- the latter I don't speak however so I'd need to enlist a German speaker.
There's not been much need up until now, and when we have sufficient critical mass I'd love to also add international sections too.
You'll find you're in good company here. We have a number of Espano/Lusophonic people here, so there's always people to do.
I only ask if you start a topic in your native language, post a translation so others can read/participate unless it's something simple such as greetings or simple comments that can survive machine translation without being mangled lol.
