mod Indy's 8-bit XL to 24-bit XL
has anyone tried to upgrade an 8-bit XL to 24-bit XL-board by soldering the midding memory chips on the boad?

Unfortunately that wouldn't work because the firmware's are different.

you also need two SGI RO1 ASICs
