Forum Redesign Wishlists

Forum Redesign Wishlists
As I continue to watch MyBB development like a hawk, I'm starting to account for things we need to improve on the site. 

Among them:

1. Redesign themes for twig template engine.
2. Move server to postgresql either before or after 1.9 release. 
3. Plain HTTP/HTML gateway for users to login, check/reply threads or PMs. 
4. Replace unicode characters with images for those things that break on non-unicode browsers. 

What are some other things you guys would like to see to improve the forums?
I'm the system admin of this site. Private security technician, licensed locksmith, hack of a c developer and vintage computer enthusiast.

This isn't exactly forum redesign, but the hinv lists turned out to be tremendously useful. It started out as kind of a kinky thing like putting icons of your machines across the bottom but turned out, if you had qustions of what worked where, the various hardware inventories were a super place to get that info.

its gona be dreamy to use old hardware to view the forum id like to setup apps in my bare octane only read the forum and a use the console for other stuff!!

There won't be an app, but there will be a way for you to interact on the forum with minimal issues.
