Wiki Improvements and Nekochan Wiki Arching - Raion - 05-31-2018

I've been listening, and I've implemented some changes to the Wiki:

Pre-eliminary support for RSS installed. (this is more secure than the api.php system used by Nekochan)

PageForms installed for template creation.

TinyMCE editor for more sophisticated editing capabilities (hit edit rather than edit source to use)

URLs are now clean (SEO-Friendly/human readable)

We'll continue improvements.

Which brings me to the second subject.

I'm now archiving Nekochan wiki pages as the requests come in.

The entire wiki is probably not worth doing, but we can at least snap up the valuable pages from archive.org or Google Cache.

This is the first.

So listen, this requires some community input.

Please give me the full title of Wiki pages from nekochan you think are preservation worthy. I'll go in and grab 'em and then we'll slowly clean up the mess.

There was a page <URL url="http://www.nekochan.net/wiki/Modern_IRIX">http://www.nekochan.net/wiki/Modern_IRIX with all resources needed for running Irix in as "modern" context as it gets, and it contained links to all other noteworthy Nekochan wiki pages related to this goal. (I reviewed all wiki pages existing on Nekochan and have linked the useful ones.)

Also it contained links to some of the more "hidden" apps, icon themes, etc. that live on external resources.

Btw, what's the link for Wiki RSS feed? Thanks.

Also, there was a page <URL url="http://www.nekochan.net/wiki/TechPubs">http://www.nekochan.net/wiki/TechPubs which listed all known mirrors of either complete, or partial, or indexed SGI techpubs docs (there were 3, 4 or 5 additional ones besides jurassic.nl)

The RSS isn't setup yet, but it will be soon, just wanted to ensure you knew I set the groundwork for it.

I'll work on those pages.

Unfortunately none of those pages were cached or within archive.org.

We're not able to retrieve those pages :( Sorry.

Yes I was aware of it. I listed it here so that if anyone manages to get the archive, this thread would contain the list of most useful pages to save.

This is not from nekochan ( or was copied from it ), but it's surely worth duplicating

Does anyone have the IP (node boards id) page archived? I've added the IP numbers for all the newer machines there (including things like the UV) and can't find it on archive.org.
