Important: New FTP - Raion - 12-02-2018

ftp.irixnet.org is back. You will see it is a bit sparser than it once was. This is due to a number of decisions made by me to minimize risks. We now host only software SGI offered with their machines.

In the meantime, in this forum, keep other site's FTPs to PMs if at all possible, and try to avoid too much talk about cracking or warez.

This decision was not made lightly, but it was for a number of reasons:

  1. Users were not satisfied with my insistence on consistent file formatting
  2. We did not have sufficient staffing to regularly garbage collect incoming
  3. It was determined that this presented too much of a risk to our long term operations within the US and Europe (Especially with newer EU regulations regarding copyrighted materials)
  4. The insane amount of scope creep impinged on our disk space and the amount of user entitlement with uploads was enough for me to give up.
Don't worry, other users have the contents that were removed from the FTP, and these will return under new providers. Please use discretion in the meantime with what is discussed here.

Is it possible to add the Nekoware bootstrapping files back to the FTP?
Trying to get irixboot to work with everything that's specified there.

The other stuff is still there, just with changes to the path.

UNXMAAL told me he's still working them out. The ones he uploaded didn't work properly.
