Do any of you game? If so, what's you poison?
I'm currently enjoying a long spell of Guild Wars 2 after Wildstar declined. Got into a nice friendly guild and really enjoy the massive game world and, dare I say it, positive player attitude.

I bounce between games pretty regularly. Currently I'm playing working through Shadowrun Dragonfall, and the occasional bit of Stardew Valley.

Overwatch for online stuff. For offline stuff, I'm playing the Senran Kagura games on the Vita.

I haven't really kept up on modern gaming since
Portal, myself. These days I spend most of my time working on creative projects or noodling around on my synthesizers/other instruments, but when I do gaming, it's usually either roguelikes (proper text-mode as God intended, thankyouverymuch!) or 8/16-bit console titles.

When I remember the fun we had playing with friends at home on the LAN, I play Diablo/Hellfire for a couple of hours.
I also love the Pro Pinball series with games like Timeshock! and Big Race USA.

I enjoy RPG's, FSP's and strategy games with a good storyline and of course, good graphics.
At one point I was very into gaming on PC, but I haven't gamed very much in recent years. This is not to say that I won't get fully back into gaming in the future though.

I do play a reasonable amount of games, but only offline ones, and only PC games. To be honest I play most genres except for sports games.
Most recently I played Divinity: Original Sin 2 which was excellent. Currently enjoying a blast from the past with a play through Warcraft III.
I do have a few odd requirements though. Mainly, I despise games with "Checkpoint" save systems (and no manual saves at all). It's just the game developer either being too lazy to implement a proper save system, or trying to dictate how you should play the game. For people who live in the real world and who have families (and hence limited time here and there to have a play), checkpoints are infuriating. I remember playing Bioshock Infinite a few years ago. Needed to quit to go and help the wife with a few bits, only to be told it'd been 20 minutes since the last checkpoint. Hence, was forced to keep playing for another 10 minutes whilst my wife was getting irate, just to find the next bloody checkpoint.
Don't get me wrong, I understand games that block saving during battles or during cutscenes (ie, Mass Effect series), but when a game won't let me save and quit even when there's no enemies anywhere around, it's bloody annoying.

In terms of modern games, I usually play a lot, but recently I've been on a lull. Been watching anime more and just talking more with friends instead of always playing with them I guess. My main games are probably World of Warcraft and Civilization. I used to be really into CS, logging thousands of hours on Global Offensive, but have pretty much kicked the habit. I also play other games such as GTA and Starcraft with friends a fair amount. I used to play Overwatch a fair bit as well, but don't very often now. I also have a Nintendo Switch and really enjoy Mario Kart and when Smash comes out that'll be fun.
In terms of general gaming, I enjoy older consoles a lot. The only new consoles I buy are Nintendo consoles, so I don't have any non-Nintendo console newer than 2006 IIRC. My favorite console is the GameCube and my favorite games on it are The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Fun Fact:

The GameCube's GPU, Flipper, was designed by ArtX, a team comprised of people that used to work for SGI and who worked on the N64's graphics chip. Pretty cool and also relevant to this forum!

I play Eve Online exclusively. I'm actually starting to write a fan fiction/ongoing autobiography of my two mains, a brother/sister pair trying to co-exist in New Eden without killing each other.
