Is the Indy Floppy drive a regular SCSI2 3.5" Floppy drive? or is it something totally different?

AFAIK, you can use a "regular" SCSI 3.5 inch floppy in there, but the original was (as mentioned in your thread title) a 21MB "floptical" drive instead. An Insite I-325VM to be specific. They could read/write normal 3.5 floppies and the special 21MB floptical disks, too. The Indy drives do pop up on ebay from time to time.

Cool.. I will have to give it a shot. I have a spare Emu Emulator 4 keyboard that use for parts and it has a scsi floppy. I still have some old windows 95 applications n floppy that I want to try to install into soft windows 95.
