IRIX 6.5 Login screen background? - BackPlaner - 11-15-2018
Anyone know how to change the color behind the login screen on Irix 6.5? Currently mine is sort of an ugly crosshatch gray, it's not too pretty and I'd like to make it the blue here below that I used to have before I inadvertently changed something.

In that case you probably disabled visuallogin, and need to do (as root):

chkconfig visuallogin onFWIW: If you use XDMCP to log in from another system it always presents the 'boring' login screen. That's normal.
