Onyx2 IR & The PROM hinv - uunix - 11-09-2018

I moved my Onyx2 deskside and Origin2000 Deskside to work last weekend. I stripped out all the cards/drives and carefully transported them all. 

Upon bringing the Onyx2 back to life, I had many many errors and issues. One node failed to work full stop, the other had memory issues.. all a pain in the butt. It was expected though.

I took a step back and decided to use the Origin as a donor for the time being, with a view to get that running later.

So maxed out and sorted out a node from it and took all the red simms.

After some work, I have a machine that reliably, after each reboot/power cycle reports 4x300MHz CPU and 8GB Ram with nothing disabled.

I have as yet though not booted into IRIX. So all info is coming from the prom hinv. It does not though display anything about the Infinite Reality system in the prom?

I wondered if anyone with such a machine could let me know if it supposed to appear in the prom hinv?

Thanks Irinikus.

I was accessing via the console, but also had a monitor attached.. it didn't dawn on me to check the text (duh).. I think it should be ok though.

I don't suppose you could also show your 'printenv' I'd like to ensure mine is good without resetting it.
