Sorry about your troubles. Just peeked at the monitor spec sheet and it seems to support sync on green so, assuming the computer is outputting a resolution and frequency the monitor can lock in to, it should be able to display the PROM menu when connected to the Indigo2.
If you are invested in SGI gear you may wish to procure or fabricate a serial cable. Your Indigo2 computer would have two serial connectors on the rear panel which can be used to troubleshoot the boot process, or even connect to it during normal operation. There is a nice picture showing the location of these two ports at the following URL:

The procedure to connect to the SGI from another computer is explained at the following URL:
https://software.majix.org/irix/admin-serial.shtml
And the port pinout on the SGI side can be found here:
http://old.pinouts.ru/SerialPorts/sgi8_pinout.shtml
With this information you should be able to connect to the Indigo2 without a monitor and figure out what is going on.
Hope that helps.

Yes, I'm using that adapter

There are two adapter types to convert from 13w3 to VGA, one of them doesn't have the correct pinout for Indigo2.

The strange thing that the adapter came included with the sale of my indigo2 and it is seen in the images that the seller's monitor was working

I would check if there are any loose contacts or parts inside the case. Carefully open the Indigo2 and inspect the graphics compartment, check if the graphic card is making contact with the riser board. If you still can't find any obvious points of failure, the next thing is get a serial nullmodem cable and go to the PROM, as suggested by mamorim01

I don’t know if the adapter only works with LCD monitors and not with CRT monitors because i i’am using a CRT monitor

I had recent issues with my daughter's Octane2, going from CRT to LCD, and may have some relevant tips. The issue is that CRTs scan about twice as fast as LCDs and therefore must be set to a compatible default pre-boot graphics output. Not sure if this issue goes the other way, but I had to use the CRT to set that before I could get power-on graphics on the LCD.
Do you have an LCD you can try on the system? If not, you may have to serial in from your other machine to change the default power-on resolution from a ~60Hz one to a ~96Hz one.

first things first you have a ps/2 mouse and keyboard plugged in? If you don't it might try to come up headless.
2nd - do you hear a little chime when you first turn it on? I would really think you would see the PROM screen, it's troubling that you don't - it might very well be a cabling/adapter issue.
3rd - you will absolutely need to have a serial cable, perhaps there is a issue and with console access it may be of help
4th - do you know if the seller setup a network? something like 192.168.1.XXX or whatever people tend to set as the default? If the system is coming up, and the network is up, you might be able to log in remotely and try a few commands to try a different resolution.
