Visual Workstation 540 for sale - evanretro - 05-04-2025
Hi, I'm selling my Visual Workstation 540 to pay for other SGI stuff.
- 4x Pentium III Xeon 500mhz CPUs
- 24 dimm modules, for a total of 1792MB of ram, but one module is bad so the effective ram is 1280mb. If you can fix or replace the bad module the rest in that bank will work.
- 2 hard drives
- 7 VRMs installed
- Cobalt graphics
- CD-rom and floppy drive (have not tested either of these)
- Includes connection for 1600SW LCD monitor.
- Includes original USB keyboard and mouse (keyboard has missing capslock key)
- Boots to Windows 2000 (graphic drivers are not correctly installed)
The case is in good condition, some scuffs and scratches, but no broken pieces. The door functions correctly.
Monitor as shown is not included. The machine originally shipped with an SGI 1600SW so likely you would want to buy one of those somewhere else.
