Quake III Benchmarked on a 466MHz G3 iBook "Clamshell" - Irinikus - 08-26-2024
Seeing that people were impressed as to how well this little system managed Unreal under Mac OS 9, I thought I'd show you this Quake III Benchmark under Mac OS X, as this little machine performs delightfully!!!
I'm beginning to think that this is the perfect little retro machine for everything up to and including Quake III!

Not bad at all.
Back in... 2002 I think, I got a gig that partially paid me with a PowerBook G3 Pismo. That was an incredible machine!
I lent it to a friend who never returned it to me. And, well, it's an ex-friend now.
By your video, I recall that the Pismo performed a bit better due to system bus and I was happy to have it because of the higher resolution. But I played a lot of Q3 on it back then.
