What was the driver to make LTO tapes work “faster” under IRIX called? -

Hi there, it’s been a while since I touched any tapes other than LTO6 under FreeBSD.
I do have an LTO3 drive in my Fuel and I vaguely recall there was some special driver required to make it work at adequate speed.
What was it called and how do I get it ? (Wink wink)
Cheers
