Installing a PCI LSI SATA card in a FUEL - andrew - 08-28-2018

Hi, I need a little help with installing SATA card into FUEL (LSI Logic SAS3041XL-S).
My system is running 6.5.27m

After plugging the card in (with attached linux xfs formatted disk), it is listed in hinv as

PCI Adapter ID (vendor 0x1000, device 0x0050) PCI slot 2

but not detected as SCSI/SATA/SAS controller (like here http://www.sgidepot.co.uk/hinv079.txt) and I have failed to find any driver for it. SYSLOG also doesn't mention anything related. Heartbeat led on the PCI card blinks green, 4 failure leds are orange, activity leds are off

I have found only this guide dealing with such installation - http://www.jarredcapellman.com/2012/10/28/adding-sata-support-to-silicon-graphics-origin-300-step-by-step, but it's a different setup with the card being detected and mine isn't

Can you please point me to where I could find required drivers and/or installation guide?

Thank you

EDIT: PROM version 6.210

Upgrading to 6.5.30 did the trick
