Name your favorite 8-bit CPU - Raion - 12-02-2021
For me it's gotta be the 6502. It's often cited as a "Proto-RISC" though I disagree with that label. It also powers the NES, C64 and many other systems.

6502 is good stuff - dead simple to understand, but not so bare-bones as to be painful to use.
RCA 1802 is kind of insane, but you have to respect something that was versatile enough to end up in both ultra-low-cost kit microcomputers and NASA space probes.
