Onyx 2 Power Cable type - Printable Version

Onyx 2 Power Cable type - indigofan - 09-13-2021

Can anyone tell me what type of power cable is needed for an Onyx2? It's not a typical 3 prong, but looks like an IEC C19 or an IEC C20, with the connectors placed horizontally. Thanks.

Hi Indigofan,

I believe plug is Hubbell HBL2621, as per larger rack sgi machines.

Yep - it's a C19. I picked one up off of Amazon for my Onyx2 and have had no issues.

Yep - it's a C19. I picked one up off of Amazon for my Onyx2 and have had no issues.

Hi Indigofan & Kaigan,

well off the mark with Hubbell on that one.

I assumed it was something harder to find as when the was the couple available on eBay in Australia, the seller made a big deal about power cables...

Good to know it is much simpler to source IEC C19.

Confirmed, it is indeed a IEC C19. Went industrial grade, only item worthy of this beast of a machine.
