Crypto mining on sgi hardware - sgiseller - 09-05-2021

Anyone ever try to port code, cpu, gpu anything? Prob way too slow but with all the enthusiasts out their, perhaps we could create a mining pool

Yeah, there's old versions of cpuminer. GPU mining is probably not feasible for two reasons:

1. There's nothing in our architecture that supports OpenCL/CUDA, the most common APIs for that.
2. Limited VRAM. Most profitable coins are all using values way too high.

Someone could likely port xmrig -- that being said it's probably not worth the time since I can get higher hashes from cheaper hardware.
