Wanted: Something to get me into the SGI ecosystem - dnlfern - 08-21-2021

Hi all.

I've been testing and playing abou with IRIX on MAME for quite a while now. Greg Blends' Blender 1.0 video series peaked my interest to get into learning a lot more about IRIX and what not and I think it's time I try and get ahold of an SGI machine of some sort!

To be honest, I don't have a lot of money to be spending on this, ideally £150 tops but I know that might be a really small budget, but I also don't really know which machines could be considered to be more 'affordable'. I wish I could be specific about what I'm after, but I'd like something I can have a play about with before I save up, and try to get ahold of something higher end. I'm based in the north of England if it helps anything!

I'm happy to pay via PayPal.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thank you Smile

Okay, please see the rules here: https://wiki.irixnet.org/Marketplace-Rules

There's two things you forgot:

1. You must put a price you're willing to pay, or a range/budget. This is to prevent price driving and predatory pricing.

2. You must tell people how you can pay, i.e. crypto, cashapp, paypal etc.
