IRIX game The Deadly Waves beta release - KayBee - 08-14-2021

Hi All,

For my second program I made this game, developed on 300MHz R5k O2 using C and IrisGL on IRIX 6.5. This is a beta, you get what you pay for  Wink . Unlike KABoing, this time I focused on the O2. It will run on Octane(and presumably others) but fonts etc. may be substituted.

Great Irinikus! I am surprised the fonts are all in place. On my Octane, (running the same 6.5.30 as my O2) the title screen font gets substituted. Very cool.

Thanks for trying it @indigofan! Do the fonts look the same as Irinikus Tezro on your beast?

Thanks @vishnu! I am using mipspro, writing in C with nedit as my editor. All the graphics are drawn via irisGL commands.

I like it, too! Works very well om my O2 (R10k/250 MHz)!

Hi @Jirka, Cool! I see the fonts have been swapped. I saw that exact behavior on my Octane (which was running the same 6.5.30 as my R5k O2). How is the sound?

I use 6.5.27. Sound is OK.
