Location of the Origin 2000 / Onyx2 system ID - jan-jaap - 06-09-2021

Someone asked me about an Onyx2 that lost it's system ID. I thought I might as well post the answer here too.

The system ID is a NIC (number in can), it's on the backplane of the system and not in the Dallas NVRAM in the IO6-G.

For a deskside Onyx2, this is what you're looking for. It's behind the right CPU node.
