Supported SCSI to IDE bridge for O2 - SGIArtist - 11-18-2020

Anyone know if I can use a IODATA IDSC21 SCSI to IDE adapter with a Compact Flash card to boot IRIX on a O2? I read somewhere that only Adaptec chips are supported but I know this one is very similar. Also this one seems to top at 20MB/s, I don't know what the max is for the O2?



Edit: I found the below test. Compared to an SSD via adapter, 20MB/s should be fine, though not optimal. Not sure how it compares with an HDD.
