I'm so tempted to get one of the new duke controllers, but, I don't really have any games that would make much benefit of it.
Anyone else buy one?

you can get one of the old xbox controller and just chop the plug and solder an usb cable, they are the same.
probably will cost a lot less, and is a great way to test.

The original XBox controller was never good to begin with :/

Oh I didn’t know they were that straightforward to mod. There was one at the thrift store but it was pretty crusty :p
I like the feeling of the duke controllers, even though I have petit hands. For some reason the PlayStation controllers make my hands raw, they’re the only controllers that ever do. The N64 analog sticks are also kind of inaccurate, they’re hard to use for super precise things like that ledge walking minigame in Mario party 3 haha. I heard you could replace them with GameCube analog sticks for better accuracy.

You need to track down some drivers to use the OG XBOX controllers:

I think that guy is forgetting his history though, I have no idea why he is saying that XBOX 360 support on PC came late. It was pretty much immediate as far as I can recall.
I find that OLED screen amusing, not least because it is reminiscent of a Dreamcast controller with a VMU installed. I suspect that The Duke was partially inspired by the Dreamcast controller.
