Seeking InPerson 1.2 tardist/iso -
halfmanhalftaco - 04-21-2020
Looking specifically for version 1.2 of SGI InPerson. The tardist was available on their website back in the late 90s (
archive link , but tardist download link is broken ) and there was apparently also a CD pressed (p/n 812-0246-003). Has anyone seen this or know where I can find it?

Howdy, HalfManHalfTaco,
I've seen the inPerson CD before, I sold one 5-6 years ago. I unfortunately don't have a copy anymore. I'll keep on the lookout.

I started digging and I found version 1.0, 2.0, 2.1. Maybe it is on one of these cd-roms I have. Just curious, why specifically 1.2?

v1.2 is the last version that runs on IRIX 5.3 as far as I can tell, and I couldnt get v1.1 to work with the permanent license from SGI. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Does v2.0 run on 5.3? I don't have a copy of that. I don't think v2.1 does.

I am running 2.1 on IRIX 5.3. I am going to start a 5.3 thread. Curious to see what everyone is running and doing with 5.3.

OK, where can I find 2.1 that will install on 5.3? The only copies I have of 2.1.x are the ones bundled on the IRIX 6.5 applications CDs, and inst/swmgr does not care to let me install from those on 5.3.

I could be mistaken, but I think it was part of the WebForce bundles at the time.
