Fairly recently, I discovered that o2 are not supposed to be green when I replaced a missing CDR bezel.

Am I safe retrobriting the skin once warmer weather comes around, or is there another approach I should take?

You should be safe. Just keep in mind that darker plastics don't always have as noticeable change

Love the concept "Degreening" and learned a new word xD.
But yes retrobright work great you can use some warm wather also in place of sun it worked for me using keys at least but you must be carefull to not go overboard some of my keys got as white as a ghost.

Wish I thought of that before I sold my broken O2 that was nearly the same color. I always thought it looked slightly off but put it down to bad lighting. Had no clue the darker plastics change color that way
